June 24, 2022 [Denver] – The Colorado Avalanche and Ball Arena have partnered with United Green Energy (UGE) to provide Green-e certified carbon offsets for all Colorado Avalanche home games during the final round of the playoffs, effectively offsetting the arena carbon footprint during home games.
“United Green Energy applauds the Avalanche’s commitment to sustainability in providing this service during the final round of the playoffs” says Executive Chairman Tom Williams. “We have been working to build up our programs with producers across the country, optimizing our technology as well as our ability to launch our carbon offset program on a national scale.”
